    Hello, i'm using the muzak theme on wordpress but i can't get the fancy slider to work. Right now the homepage is like a summary of the blog page but i want a slider to be in the header before the content. It seems like no matter what i do the slider won't be visible.

    Hope you can help

    Hi there,

    Thank you for using Muzak.

    Please have a look https://www.cssigniter.com/kb/slider-does-not-appear/ on how to make your slider appear. Also, I strongly suggest to install sample content again using this guide https://www.cssigniter.com/kb/importing-sample-content-with-one-click-demo-import/

    To get the default page templates where they need to be.

    Let me know if this worked for you.

    Hello, thanks for the quick response, the only thing that didn't came up with the import was the homepage slider. I'm not quite sure why..

    Hi,

    just added one. You dont have featured images and you will need to add some foreach of your slides https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/featured-image/

    Hi,

    you can try adding this

    #header .col-md-3{
     width:55%;
     text-align:right;
    }

    in your custom CSS box

    Hi there,

    you can add this

    .nav-side .navigation {
        top: 60px;
        position: relative;
    }

    in your custom CSS box to change the menu alignment

    Open footer.php and add this

    <a href="your-link" class="btn new-link">Your text</a>

    after

    <footer id="footer">
            <div class="container">
                <div class="row">

    then add

    .new-link{ display:block; text-align:center; }

    in your custom CSS box to align it in center;

    3. You can add a simple text widget in the footer 3 sidebar with any HTML tag you wish.

    4. Which is the blog page? Can you send it over?

    5. Add this

    .nav-side .navigation > li > a:hover, .nav-side .navigation > li.sfHover > a, .nav-side .navigation > li.sfHover > a:active, .nav-side .navigation > li.current_page_item > a, .nav-side .navigation > li.current-menu-item > a, .nav-side .navigation > li.current-menu-ancestor > a, .nav-side .navigation > li.current-menu-parent > a, .nav-side .navigation > li.current > a{
    color:gray
    }

    in your custom CSS box.

    It worked! the only thing that didn't work probaly was the button on the homepage. Which menu in the editor do i need to paste it in to? Because when i pasted it into the one of the theme pages it reapeted in all the pages but i only need the button on the index site.

  • Andru replied

    Nevermind i found it ty :)!

    Hey Vasilis, it worked fine :)!

    Right now the only problem is that on mobile the logo is not centered.

    Its aligned to the left on computer and thats good, but it just used to center itself on mobile but it doesn't do that right now.

    What to do? :)

    Hi there,

    Add this to fix the mobile issue

    @media(max-width:767px){

        #header .col-md-3
        {
            display:block;
            margin:auto;
            text-align:center;
        }
    }
