    Hey Gang,

I've been running into some issues and I just noticed that there are some plugins missing.

1- Contact form did not download with the demo import. This got me wondering how many other plugins I am missing.

2- Is this theme compatible with Guttenburg? When I pull up the front page, it's completely blank.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    1. You will need to install Contact Form 7 and reimport your sample content.

    2. Gutenberg is supported, but the frontpage is a widgetized area you can edit from Customize->Widgets->Frontpage Widgets (https://prnt.sc/oad3qo).

Let me know if this worked for you.

    Hi Vasilis,

Thank you for that direction. That'll help perfectly.

If I re-import demo content, will it replace my work or duplicate all the pages all over again?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hi there,

It will not duplicate any pages, or erase your work. But, I strongly suggest backing up everything for sake of mind.

Let me know if you need additional help on this.

    Hi Vasilis,

I did the re-import and still there are no plugins showing. I am currently working on the track listings and cannot find where  there are. I am assuming they are with a plugin.

Also WooCommerce did not install during either of the imports I did. I went through all the files I downloaded and don't see plugins anywhere. Sometimes developers include the plugins folder for their themes to help with this kind of stuff.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

Chords does not come with any plugins natively, you will need to install them from WordPress.org first. But these plugins are helpers since the theme will work fine without them.

Woocommerce must be installed from WordPress.org  (Plugins->Add New) before importing sample content

These plugins are mentioned in the documentation file and in the online documentation  http://www.cssigniter.com/docs/chords

Are you trying to replicate a feature the theme has? For example track listings are inside any Discography item (https://prnt.sc/ocfej7) and can be rendered using the [tracklisting] shortcode

    1. Your tracks will be displayed on top of your content. If you want to show them in another place in the content, you can use the [tracklisting] shortcode at the desired position.
    2. The [tracklisting] shortcode, by default will display the tracks of the current discography item. You may also display the track listing of any discography item in any other post/page or widget (that supports shortcodes) by passing the ID or slug parameter to the shortcode. E.g. [tracklisting id="25"] or [tracklisting slug="the-division-bell"]
    3. You can also selectively display tracks, by passing their track number (counting from 1), separated by a comma, like this [tracklisting tracks="2,5,8"] and can limit the total number of tracks displayed like [tracklisting limit="3"]
    4. Of course, you can mix and match the parameters, so the following is totally valid: [tracklisting slug="the-division-bell" tracks="2,5,8" limit="2"]
    5. You may also add a SoundCloud track by copying the track's URL (the one given by it's Share button) and pasting it into the Play URL field.

Let me know if you need additional help on this.
