    Hi,

    I purchased the theme because I thought I could just do direct edit on it but I realized after downloading the theme, it was all empty and I have to set up everything myself. I have no experience with WordPress, how can get access to the theme as is and do editing directly? Please advise.

    Hi there,

    you will just need to import sample content like described in the documentation here https://www.cssigniter.com/docs/mykonos/#importing-sample-content-using-one-click-import

    Then replace all content with yours. Let me know if you need additional help with this.

    Hi Vasilis,

    Thanks for your reply, I have managed to import using the one click plugin.

    I have a few questions regarding the theme as below:

    1. How can I connect to Siteminder our Channel Manager's Booking Button.

    2. What plugin did you use for the theme calendar?

    3. Can I do a 1 column footer like the attached?

    4. Does your theme support plugin 360? If so, can I add an overlay button on the room image to direct to the 360 page?

    I need to build the site within a month for my company's hotel, if the above doesn't work, I will have to find another theme. I'm also new to WP,  I'll likely have more questions going forward, appreciate your help.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi,

    Mykonos does not have a booking system, rather that a simple form. You can add the code suggested by your booking plugin or provider by replacing all content of part-booking-form.php

    Add this

    #footer .col-md-4{display:none;}
    #footer .col-md-4:first-child{display:block;max-width:100%;width:100%;}

    in your custom CSS box under Customize-▸Additional CSS to hide all other footer columns but keep the first one.

    In any case I dont see why 360 plugin should not work with the theme. In any case the plugin should add automatically its button over the room featured image.

    Let me know if you need additional help with this.

    Hi,

    Please reinstall the theme from a zip you can download from Themeforest.All theme settings are actually under Appearance->Theme Settings and not under Customizer.

    After installing the theme import sample content https://www.cssigniter.com/docs/mykonos/#importing-sample-content-using-one-click-import

    If you don't have any data locally, I suggest resetting WordPress first https://www.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/ (this will remove all data so you can readd the sample content correctly)

    Hi,

    Please advise the plugin or software/html that you have used in the template for the booking/reservation bar on the Front Page and at the bottom of the Service page as that's one of the main features which led me to buy the template. Many thanks.

    Hi there,

    you will need to set a booking page under CSSIgniter Settings->Booking Options https://prnt.sc/sqhng3

    Make sure the booking page you selected has the correct page template attached. Under Page Attributes select the Booking Page template.

    Let me know if you need additional help with this.

    Hi Vasilis,

    Is that for the booking form only? But I'd like to have the calendar bars as attached here. Thanks.

    Hi,

    These will appear once you have a the booking page correctly selected. Have you resolved this?

  • Anita replied

    Thanks but I have created one using coding instead as my deadline was due.
