Hi, I was using a different theme, then returned to Muzak, and just rebought the license (couldn't find the old license my friend gave me). I want to use the new features (can you send me a new version guide) and use the slider again (picture or video) - how can I get it going again? Looking for a customization guide as well! Thanks a lot,
make sure you have enabled the new theme from Appearance->CSSIgniter Settings->Appearance Options under Color settings (choose modern pink for example). Then set your menu from CSSIgniter Settings->Display options to show the side.
Make sure your frontpage has the homepage https://prnt.sc/E6VWNwpIhBlc template selected in order the slider to appear.
Hi, thanks for reply. It worked fine, until a couple weeks later, I added another 'slider' and then suddenly 3 sliders stopped loading/were broken. I reduced the # of sliders from 9 to 6 to 5 but there's always 2-3 'ghost' sliders that won't load. I crunched the image size, but can't figure out what's going on now?
I will rebuild and just delete them all and try again, but know what happened?
So I deleted all the sliders, tried it (works with no slider), then rebuilt one: 3 appear, the real one and "2 ghosts"
added a second one, now it's 2 real, 2 ghosts.
Since I just launched a book and trying not to look like a joke with a broken site, I've deleted/removed all sliders until we can trouble shoot it. Please let me know asap what the problem is if anyone knows! Thanks
Also I suggest, installing jQuery migrate helper plugin (Plugins->Add New). Then head over to the plugin settings and change the jQuery version from current to the 1.x.x legacy one and save your settings. This is not related with the issue you have, but it might prevent more issues in the future.
Hi Vasilis, sorry to bother you again, I've been trying to get the page load time and been crunching images to webp new gen etc all of a sudden, my images have yellow borders around them. I did not specifically give them a border tag, it must be the side effect of a plugin? Do you have any idea how to remove the yellow borders around images? Thanks a lot.
hi; sorry I think it's a plugin thing, where i'm signed in and it's trying to tell me I could be making the image smaller. I don't think clients see it.

Hi there,
Please check for plugin conflicts. A CDN/caching plugin is not loading some files (slider files) causing a 502 server error
To check for plugin conflicts follow this guide https://www.cssigniter.com/kb/checking-for-plugin-conflicts/

Hi Vasilis, thanks a lot, worked like a charm. I'll remember that about not overdoing plugins.
Kai
Glad I could help!

edit: it seems to happen only on Chrome browser?
Is it a chrome browser setting?
